While I was on a break post delivery, one of my friends was planning a serial in Kannada, and he suggested me to try a negative role. And I have played all types of roles-lead, soft-natured ones and character roles. In fact, I played the lead role in my Kannada debut. What made you take up a negative character? You play a villainous role in Deivamagal. I have acted in five serials in Malayalam and my role in Ammakkili was well-received. Its shooting was held in Kerala and I got offers to work in Malayalam soaps. My first serial in Tamil was Parijatham but it did not continue for long on television. How did you venture into Tamil television?
